Overview

Chotto Matte is an internationally recognised Japanese-Peruvian restaurant brand with locations across major global cities. Ahead of the launch of its Riyadh branch, the brand required a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to build awareness, drive reservations, and establish a strong presence within the Saudi dining market.

Nabu Marketing supported Chotto Matte from the pre-launch stage, including advertising account setup, tracking infrastructure, campaign planning, and ongoing campaign management from January 2025 through June 2026.

The objective was to generate awareness, increase reservation demand, and maintain consistent customer acquisition through Google and Meta advertising.

Launching a new premium dining destination in Riyadh required building awareness from the ground up while simultaneously generating reservation demand.

The key challenges included:

Our Process

1. Pre-Launch Digital Infrastructure
Before launch, we configured advertising accounts, conversion tracking, analytics integrations, audience structures, and campaign frameworks to ensure accurate performance measurement from day one.

2. Meta Awareness Campaigns
Meta was used to build awareness and introduce the Chotto Matte brand to Riyadh audiences through highly visual creative campaigns focused on reach, engagement, and audience growth.

3. Meta Conversion Campaigns
Alongside awareness efforts, conversion-focused campaigns were launched to drive direct reservation activity, booking page visits, event registrations, and customer enquiries.

4. Google Search Campaigns
Google Search campaigns targeted high-intent users actively searching for restaurants, Japanese dining, brunch experiences, and premium dining options in Riyadh.

5. Google Maps & Performance Max
Google Maps and Performance Max campaigns increased local visibility, generated directions requests, calls, booking page visits, and supported ongoing customer acquisition across Google’s network.

6. Continuous Optimisation
Campaigns were refined throughout the year based on audience behaviour, reservation trends, seasonal demand, and event-specific opportunities.
